SOPHOMORE (2010-11): Selected to the All-Big
West Conference Honorable Mention singles team for the season
straight season... competed the entire season atop the Fullerton
ladder, ranking second with 10 dual match wins and finishing 11-17
overall - an improvement of three wins over her freshman
campaign... after opening the year 1-11, Mai closed the season with
a 10-6 record, including three wins over conference opponents and
wins in four of her final six overall... led the team with a 3-5
mark against conference opponents in singles play on the year...
named Big West Conference Player of the Week on March 16 after
posting singles wins over Cal Poly's Florence Lehane and UC Santa
Barbara's Natalia Lozano and going 1-1 in doubles play that
weekend... finished second on the team in overall wins, second in
dual match wins, and tied for third in wins over regional opponents
(7)... finished 11-18 overall in doubles play, including a
team-best nine wins (and five over regional opponents) with
teammate Monica Rodriguez... finished 8-14 in doubles play at the
No. 1 spot... won three straight from March 14-18, including an 8-4
win over Jordan Dockendorf and Natalia Lozano of UC Santa
Barbara.
FRESHMAN (2009-10): Selected to the All-Big West Conference Honorable Mention singles team... finished the year with a team-best 7-12 mark in dual match play with all 19 matches coming at the No. 1 spot in the lineup... was the only TItan to finish with more than one win in conference play, ending the year with a 2-6 mark... led the team in victories over regional opponents (5) and overall wins (8)... ended the year on a three-match winning streak in singles play, including a straight-set victory over UC Riverside's Nadia Sakhahorn in the first round of the Big West Conference tournament... finished 8-13 overall in doubles play, teaming up with teammate Monica Rodriguez to post a 6-9 mark at the No. 1 doubles spot that included three straight doubles victories to end the season.
