The Cal State Fullerton softball team's quest for the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City began Thursday afternoon with its first practice under the Arizona sun.
With temperatures touching 100 degrees, the Titans got their first taste of the Farrington Stadium turf, running through drills during their one-hour time slot on ASU's home field.
Third-seeded Fullerton, which is making its 25th NCAA appearance in 28 seasons, opens regional play on Friday afternoon (May 15) at 2:30 p.m. PDT against No. 23-ranked and second-seeded LSU.
