FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton (12-7) dropped their final two games of the Judi Garman Classic with a 7-2 loss to No. 2 Washington and a 10-2 loss to Fresno State. The Titans finish their weekend with three wins and two losses.

The first game got off to a great start for the Titans as Sophie Frost started the game off with an easy one-two-three top of the first and the offense followed with a pair of runs in the bottom half. The runs came on one swing as Zoe Richard blasted her fourth home run of the season down the right field line.

Unfortunately, it was all Huskies from there. A three-run home run in the top of the second would give them the lead followed by a four-spot in the top of the sixth to take a commanding 7-2 lead and the Fullerton offense could not respond against Brooke Nelson. It marks the fourth straight loss to Washington, including two last season.

The Titans would look to bounce back in their sixth and final game of the weekend taking on Fresno State.

The Bulldogs got the scoring started early plating a run on a wild pitch in the top of the first and two more in the third on a two-run home run. They would blow the game open in the top of the seventh with six runs to make it 10-0.

Fullerton would start a rally in the bottom of the seventh, plating two runs on a Daisy Munoz double. However, that would be it as the Titans fell 10-2.

Cal State Fullerton will be back in action next weekend as part of the Louisville Slugger Invitational co-hosted by UCLA and Long Beach State.
