Titans Welcome Three More Recruits For 2019-20

FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton softball team welcomes in three more recruits for the 2019-20 season.

"These athletes are outstanding additions to our roster," says head coach Kelly Ford. "They give us speed, power, athleticism and they all have the drive to compete. We are very excited about getting started and seeing how the 2020 Titans gel and take on the season!"

Megan Delgadillo | 5'9" | Riverside, Calif.
Delgadillo joins the Titan family after a phenomenal high school career at Poly High School in Riverside. She set the school record for most hits in a season (69) as well as most hits in a career (201) to go along with several All-Tournament selections, All-County selections, All-CIF honors, as well as All-American and Scholastic awards. The incoming freshman currently ranks as the No. 24 recruit by Flo Softball and the No. 40 recruit by Extra Inning Softball.

Taylor Tropp | 5'3" | Chula Vista, Calif.
Tropp comes to Fullerton after being a two-sport, four-year letter winner at Eastlake High School in Chula Vista. In her high school career, she totaled a .323 average across all four seasons including a .400 mark in her junior year. Another part of her junior season was helping lead her team to their first CIF Championship finishing the year as runner-ups. She was named to the Principal's Honor Roll, San Diego Union Tribune All-Academic Team and was a San Diego CIF Scholar-Athlete.

Amanda Foglesong | 5'7" | Fullerton, Calif.
Foglesong stays close to home coming to Cal State Fullerton after playing her high school career at Fullerton Union High School. She had a remarkable senior year earning an Orange County All-Star Team selection, All-County selection, All-Freeway League First Team selection and Team MVP. She was also named an All-Freeway League First Team selection in her junior season as well. Academically, she was named a Scholar-Athlete all four years of her high school career.

This group of new recruits joining the Titans this fall also includes junior transfer Adriana Otero, who recently played for the Puerto Rico National Team in the 2019 Pan-American Games. You can read about her HERE.

The Titans kick off their fall season on Friday, September 27 with the Navy/Orange Scrimmage at 6:00 p.m. at Anderson Family Field.

 

PARKING
CSUF requires a parking permit for all weekday games. Beginning July 1st, parking on campus will be $10 for an All-Day permit Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm Friday until 5pm.  After 5pm on Friday, Permits are not required, as well as on the weekend. Park and Pay stalls Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (Friday until 5pm) are $4 for 1-hour, $8 for 2-hours. Permits can be purchased in parking lots at the permit machines and accept only major credit cards.

The Ticket Office is located at the Titan House off of Gymnasium Drive at the eastern end of the Intramural Fields and is open from 10 am – 4 pm PT, Monday – Friday.
