IRVINE, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton collected another Big West weekly award as Daisy Munoz received the final Freshman of the Week award of the season. It is her first career award and she is the sixth different Titan to receive weekly honors.

• Earning her first Big West Softball Freshman of the Week award, Cal State Fullerton first baseman Daisy Munoz slugged 1.250 in a series sweep of UC Riverside.

• Munoz hit .500 (4-for-8) and walked three times to help propel the Titans to their fourth consecutive Big West title.

• She drove in five RBIs and scored three runs to help the Titans outscore the Highlanders 26-11 for the series.

• After going 1-for-3 with a walk in the opener, Munoz clubbed her seventh homer of the season in the 14-6 victory in game two. She finished the game 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

• Munoz blasted her eighth homer of the season in the finale, going 1-for-2 with three RBI in the 7-2 win. She also walked once in all three games.
