FULLERTON, Calif. - Alexa Neil captured her second Big West Softball Freshman Player of the Week award with .462 hitting at the Cal State Fullerton-hosted Easton Invitational.
• Neil had six hits in 13 at-bats to help the Titans post a 3-1 tourney record. She scored three runs with three RBI for the week.
• The second baseman notched two multiple-hit games. She hit 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI in a 3-1 win over Boston University. Neil scored two of the three Titan runs.
• Neil also had a perfect 3-for-3 performance in a 5-1 victory over DePaul. She recorded the game-tying and game-winning RBI against the Blue Demons with her third inning home run and an RBI single in the fourth, respectively.
• She also stole a pair of bases and sported a 1.000 fielding percentage in 22 total chances.
