In the Dugout with Jasmyn Vigilante

FULLERTON, Calif. – With the season just over a week away, Titans softball welcomes ten newcomers to the program and this series goes "in the dugout" with each of them to get to know who they are. Next up is Jasmyn Vigilante.

Vigilante is a 5'0" outfielder from Rosamond, California. She comes to Fullerton after four years of varsity of softball and two years of varsity volleyball at Paraclete High School. With the Spirits, she was a two-time Gold Coast All-League First Team selection and was named the 2018 Athlete of the Year. She was also a 2018 Scholar-Athlete, Coach's Award recipient and team captain in both softball and volleyball. In her four years of high school, she helped her team to two CIF Souther Section titles and was a Division IV State Champion as well.

Academically, she was a standout as well serving as her class valedictorian and being a part of the Math, Science, and English Honors Societies.

"Jasmyn is one of our few lefties," head coach Kelly Ford notes. "She has outstanding bat control and a really good ability to find the holes. She is always smiling out there and bringing a positive attitude to the field everyday."

Jasmyn is the daughter of Alex and Joy Vigilante and has two brothers, Anthony and Aaron. She is majoring in Management in Business and hopes to follow in her parents' footsteps. She chose Cal State Fullerton because of the tremendous business program and when she came on her visit, the atmosphere felt like home.
