IRVINE, Calif.- Sophomore Ariana Williams (Moreno Valley, Calif./Canyon Springs HS) was the offensive superstar for Cal State Fullerton in its conference sweep of Hawai'i, earning her the selection as Big West Softball Field Player of the Week.

The center fielder either scored or drove in seven of the 10 runs the Titan offense generated in the three victories.  She hit .364 (4-for-11) for the week with three runs scored and five RBIs.  Williams scored a run, walked and stole a base in CSF's 7-3 loss to UCLA in a midweek game.

Williams went 1-for-2 with a run, two RBI's and a stolen base in the game one, 5-0 victory.   She produced the game-winning hit with a two-out, 2-RBI triple in the bottom of the seventh to give the Titans a dramatic 4-3 victory in the second game of the series.  Williams also homered in the fourth to tie the game at 1-1.

With the triple and home run, Williams generated an .818 slugging percentage for the week.
