Cal State Fullerton senior forward Christina Murillo and junior midfielder Casey Volk were named to the All-Big West Conference honor roll on Tuesday according to a vote of the league's coaches released by the league office.

Both were honored for the first times in their careers as Murillo earned a spot on the all-league second team while Volk was one of 11 honorable mention selections for the 2010 season.

Murillo had the best offensive season of her career, leading the team with eight goals and 17 points while starting 18 of the team's 19 matches. She finished her career with 19 goals and four assists (42 points) on 106 shots, ranking among the all-time leaders in points (ninth), goals (sixth), and shots (ninth) while finishing with the most goals for a Titan in a single-season since Brianna Buffington led the team with eight goals in 2006.

Volk also had a career year offensively for the Titans, finishing the 2010 season with four goals and three assists while ending up second on the team in scoring with 11 points. All four of her goals in 2010 were game-winners for the Titans, lifting her team to wins over No. 18 UNC Greensboro (Sept. 5), San Diego State (Sept. 24), UC Riverside (Oct. 14), and Cal Poly (Oct. 21).

Cal State Fullerton finished the regular season with a 6-13 overall record and a 3-5 mark in Big West Conference play to tie for sixth, but were in the hunt for one of four Big West Tournament berths up until the final weekend of the regular season.
