Special Thanks to Jenae Gibbens for the report...

Cal State Fullerton freshman Morgan Saunders scored a pair of goals for the Titans while former Titan Casey Schostag tallied once for the alumnae as the women's soccer program welcomed back former Fullerton greats for the annual spring alumnae game at Titan Stadium.

Saunders was the recipient of her own hard work and by putting herself in the right place at the right time. The first goal was crossed into the box by Caitlin Mellano, where Saunders flicked it on to Christina Murillo who shot the ball far post as Saunders sprinted forward and made an easy pass into the net.

The second goal was also scored off a cross from Tanya Slusser that was continued on by Danielle Bitonti to Saunders at the back post who again found the net for the 2009 Titans.

The alumnae did come back with a goal scored by Casey Schostag who bent the ball into the goal off a corner kick.

Thank you to all the alumni and supporters that were able to come out to the game; it was a very exciting and fun event for women's soccer. For those who were not able to make it, we invite you to Cal State Fullerton Women's Soccer annual preseason alumnae game in the upcoming fall.
