FULLERTON, CA - Cal State Fullerton head women's soccer coach Demian Brown has announced the signing of seven high school seniors to National Letters of Intent to continue their academic and playing careers with the Titans beginning with the 2011 season.

The group of seven freshmen joins a pair of mid-year transfers in Donya Oliveira (Idaho State) and Ann Marie Tangorra (Cal State Los Angeles) to bring the list of new faces for the 2011 season to nine.

"We are very excited about this year's class," Brown said. We have added a great mix of athleticism and skill and feel that we have addressed some very important needs for the program as we head into the 2011 season. Adding the element of speed to the attack and defense was a major goal for this class and we also wanted to bring in players with the skill and vision who will allow us to play an entertaining brand of soccer.

Individual player biographies of the seven incoming freshmen are below.

ADRIANA GJONOVICH - M/F - Cypress, CA (Los Alamitos HS/Fullerton Rangers)
	Four-year varsity letter winner for the Griffins... helped lead Los Alamitos to a pair of Sunset League titles as a freshman and sophomore... Griffins were CIF finalists as a sophomore... second-team all-league selection as a junior... member of the National Honors Society... four-year Principal's Honor Roll member... nominated to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine... 2009 National Student Leadership Conference invitee... nominated fo the 2009 National Student Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C... her great aunt, Vilma Martinez, is the United States Ambassador to Argentina... mother, Yvette, played softball for the Titans from 1988-91. Head Coach Demian Brown: "Adrianna is a creative and skillful midfielder. With her skill and passing ability, she has the potential to enhance our teams' attck and pick teams apart."
TORI MACDONALD - GK - Menifee, CA (Heritage HS/Arsenal FC)
	Played two seasons of varsity for the Patriots as a sophomore and junior before concentrating on training with her club team during her senior season... All-Sunbelt League First-Team selection as a sophomore and served as the team's co-captain as a junior... has competed with Arsenal FC for eight years, helping her side to seven Coast Soccer League titles and Super Y Championships in 2006 and 2008... Helped Arsenal FC to a Blues Cup title in 2007... Surf Cup finals appearances in 2007 and 2010... member of Cal South ODP Team in 2005 and 2006. Head Coach Demian Brown: "She is a tall and commanding goalkeeper. Her ability to handle crosses and control her 18-yard box along with her great distribution makes her a very good goalkeeper.
KIERSTEN MILLER - D - Carlsbad, CA (Carlsbad HS/Carlsbad Elite)&\#8232;
	Four-year letter winner for the Lancers... earned first-team All-Avocado League honors and team MVP laurels as a junior... team captain as a senior... Carlsbad HS is currently 10-3-5 overall, 5-1-2 in league. Head Coach Demian Brown: "She is a very athletic and tenacious defender. She has the defensive attributes and attacking ability to play the outside back role for us."
CHELSEY PATTERSON - M - Anaheim, CA (Rosary HS/Fullerton Rangers)&\#8232;
	A four-year letter winner for the Royals at nearby Rosary HS... first-team All-Trinity League selection as a junior... twice named the team's Offensive MVP... currently has 13 assists for Rosary HS after finishing with five goals and eight assists as a junior. Head Coach Demian Brown: "Chelsey is a tremendously athletic and physically fit midfielder who has the stamina and intelligence to play in the center midfield or center back role for us."
JESSICA SMETHERMAN - M/D - Glendora, CA (Glendora HS/Legends FC)&\#8232;
	Four-year letter winner for the Tartans... second-team All-Baseline League selection as a sophomore.&\#8232; Head Coach Demian Brown: "Jessica is another left-sided player. She has great skill and vision in the middle of the field. She has the ability to strike balls with great accuracy which will help in our attack as well as make her dangerous on set pieces."
LAUREN STUPIN - M - Hacienda Heights, CA (Los Altos HS/Legends FC)&\#8232;
	Four-year letter winner for the Conquerors... three-time All-Hacienda League First-Team selection... two-time league MVP... has scored 19 goals and netted 14 assists at the time of her signing... finished with 26 goals and 15 assists as a junior... first-team All-CIF as a junior... two-time All-San Gabriel Valley choice as a sophomore and junior... three-time scholar-athlete... midfielder of the year as a sophomore and offensive player of the year as a junior... two-time team captain... captain of her Legends FC club team. Head Coach Demian Brown:"A true left-footed attack-minded player. She has a great amount of skill and an equally high desire to score goals. With her great pace going forward, she will strengthen our left side either at the forward or midfield positions."
REBECCA WILSON - F - Placentia, CA (El Dorado HS/Fullerton Rangers)&\#8232;
	Four-year letter winner for the Golden Hawks... first-team All-Century League honors as a sophomore and junior... finished with 18 goals and four assists... did not play during her senior year following an injury suffered during her club season... third-team all-county selection as a junior... team MVP as a sophomore. Head Coach Demian Brown:"Rebecca is a blazing-fast forward with the ability to score breathtaking goals. Her speed is matched by her creativity and work-rate."
