2008: Served one season as the team manager while completing her degree in kinesiology.

2005 (SENIOR): NSCAA Second-Team All-American... NSCAA First-Team All-West Region selection... also earned second-team All-America honors from Soccer Buzz and SoccerTimes.com... Big West Conference Defensive Player of the Year... First-Team All-Big West Conference selection... named Big West Player of the Week on Sept. 5 and Oct. 31... started 22 of 23 matches, finishing with four goals and three assists to stand tied for fifth on the team in scoring (11 points)... all four of her goals came on penalty kicks, where she was a perfect 4-for-4... also posted assists against Cal State Northridge (Oct. 7), Pacific (Nov. 4) and UC Riverside (Nov. 6)... helped the Titans finish with a school-record 19 wins and a trip to the "Sweet 16" of the NCAA Tournament following wins over UNLV (Nov. 11) and USC (Nov. 13)... centerpiece of a defense that helped Fullerton set school records for fewest goals allowed (15), fewest shots allowed (161) and most shutouts (12).

2004 (JUNIOR): All-Big West Conference First-Team selection... started 15 matches... finished with a goal and an assist for three points on 14 shots... scored her only goal of the year on the road at Northern Colorado on Sept. 24... added an assist on the only goal in a 1-0 win at UC Irvine (Oct. 31)... finished with two shots in four different matches.

2003 (SOPHOMORE): Had her best offensive year as a sophomore, scoring two goals and three assists to finish fourth on the team in scoring... appeared in 18 matches, making 16 starts, en route to All-Big West Second Team honors... Both of her goals came in the season opener against Fairleigh Dickinson... tallied assists against Oregon, Cal State Northridge and Long Beach State.

2002 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 16 of the Titans' 18 matches, making 15 starts... named to the All-Big West Conference honorable mention squad... notched her first career goal, and game-winner, in a 4-0 rout of San Diego State... was a key part of the Titan defense which held opponents to a then-school record-low 21 goals on the year... missed two games competing for the Mexican Women's National Team in Gold Cup action, scoring a goal against Panama in a 5-1 victory for Mexico.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

Has spent significant time with the Mexican Women's National Team, representing that country in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece... She started all three matches and helped Mexico to an appearance in the quarterfinal round... Her international experience also includes scoring a goal for Mexico in a Women's World Cup qualifier against Japan in 2003 and later winning a bronze medal at the Pan American Games in the Dominican Republic that same year... She also scored a goal with Mexico in a 5-1 win over Panama at the 2002 Gold Cup and competed for Mexico's U-19 squad at the Youth World Cup in Canada in the summer of 2002.

VALENCIA HS

A three-year varsity soccer player at Valencia HS, Sandoval also played three years of varsity volleyball and was a three-year varsity letterwinner in track... did not play sports as a senior... a two-time first-team all-league selection, a two-time league MVP and a two-time All-CIF selection as a sophomore and junior... she was also a two-time all-league selection and an All-CIF selection in volleyball.

PERSONAL

Born January 18, 1984... mother is Margarita... has a younger brother, Jesse, and a younger sister Adele... played club soccer for the CRSC Infinity... chose Cal State Fullerton because it was close to home, the quality of the soccer team, and head coach Ali Khosroshahin... lists playing in the U-19 World Cup with the Mexican Women's National Team this past summer as her greatest sports thrill.
