CAL STATE FULLERTON - COACH

Spent the 2007 season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Titans, working with the goalkeepers and helping Cal State Fullerton to a 12-8-2 overall record and a 6-2 mark in Big West Conference play... the Titans tied for the Big West title and defeated Cal Poly on penalty kicks in the league championship match to advance to the NCAA Tournament, where they fell to top-ranked UCLA, 3-1... under her tutelage, Shayla Sabin was named the Big West Goalkeeper of the Year, Big West Tournament MVP, and an All-Big West Conference First-Team selection.

CAL STATE FULLERTON - PLAYER

2006 (REDSHIRT SENIOR): Big West Conference Goalkeeper of the Year for the third consecutive season... Second-Team All-West Region selection by the NSCAA... First-Team All-Big West Conference selection... twice named Big West Conference Player of the Week on Sept. 5 and Oct. 23... started all 22 matches in net, recording a 12-8-2 overall record with eight shutouts, playing all but 21 minutes on the season... posted a 1.02 goals against average which ranked fourth all-time... her 128 saves were just one off the school record set by Heidi Clauss in 1993 (129)... her .848 save percentage is a school record, besting her previous mark of .846 set in 2002 as a freshman... her 12 wins are third-most in a single-season while her eight clean sheets are the second most in a single campaign... made a career-high 14 saves against UCLA in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Los Angeles on Nov. 12 - the second-most saves in a single match in school history behind only Clauss' 21 stops against Pepperdine in 1993... also finished with 12 stops in a win at Texas A&M on Sept. 15 and 10 saves in a 2-1 win over Saint Mary's on Sept. 1.

2005 (REDSHIRT JUNIOR): Big West Conference Goalkeeper of the Year for the second straight season after posting a 16-4 overall record and setting single-season school records for goals against average (0.64), victories, and shutouts (10) while tying the mark for minutes played (1,820)... Also named to the All-Big West First Team... set career records for goalkeeper victories (35) and shutouts (18) while ranking second in minutes played (4,364) and saves (184)... ranked 21st in the nation and first in the Big West in GAA while ranking fourth in the league in save percentage (.803) and tied for second in shutouts per game (0.50).

2004 (REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE): Named the Big West Conference Goalkeeper of the Year and All-Big West First Team despite missing the first eight games of the season recovering from a broken leg... posted a record of 7-3-1 with a 0.71 goals against average and five shutouts... ranked third in the league in GAA, fifth in shutouts, and third in shutouts per match... made a season-high seven saves in a 1-0 victory over Cal Poly... posted a 2-0-1 record in overtime, including a scoreless tie against UC Riverside.

2003 (SOPHOMORE): Played in only 28 minutes of the season before suffering a season-ending broken leg in the second half of the Titans' match against Washington at the Portland Nike Invitational.

2002 (FRESHMAN): Big West Conference 2002 Freshman of the Year and NSCAA All-West Region third-team selection... named to the Soccer Buzz Freshman All-America second team, All-West Region second team, and West Region All-Freshman team... named to the All-Big West second team... made 88 saves (.846 save pct.) and three shutouts... ranked third in the conference in GAA (0.96) and third in saves per match... tallied a career-high 12 saves against No. 6 Portland and matched that against No. 12 Washington to share in conference Player of the Week honors... named MVP of the UC Irvine Nike/Holiday Inn Invitational, helping the Titans to the team title... named to the Soccer Buzz National Elite Team of the Week on Sept. 18.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE (AS OF 2006 SEASON)

One of two American-born players to be invitied to the England Women's U-19 International Training Camp in Colchester, England, in the summer of 2003... selected to the England U-19 Women's National Team for the 2004 UEFA Women's U-19 Championships in Leipzig, Germany, helping England to the semifinals and playing all 360 minutes of England's four matches in the tournament... named to the England National Team in August, 2003, for matches against Australia and Germany... called up to the national team in 2005 for the Algarve Cup in Portugal... started England's first round group match-up with Northern Ireland, posting a shutout in the 4-0 win (England would finish eighth in the tournament, losing on penalty kicks, 5-3, to China after a scoreless tie)... travelled with the England U21s to the 2005 Nordic Cup in Sweden where England finished third after downing Germany on penalty kicks... One of 28 invited to attend a senior national team training camp in August, 2005, in advance of the country's first FIFA Women's World Cup qualifier.

Two-year varsity player under head coach Jeff Allen... missed her junior year due to injury... also ran track for two seasons... earned All-Sierra League honors as a senior while helping her team to the league championship and the CIF quarterfinals... named Sierra League MVP as a senior... member of the Olympic Development Program state, regional and national pools from 1998-2002.

Born on October 14, 1984, in Santa Monica, Calif... parents are Geoff and Kay... club team was National Finalists in 2001 along with earning state and regional crowns... club was also Far West regional champions in 1997 and 1998, state champions in 1997, and state finalists in 1998... graphic design major at Cal State Fullerton... also threw javelin for the Titan track and field team in 2006.
