FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton women's soccer held its annual Blue/Orange Scrimmage on Saturday afternoon in Titan Stadium and the Blue came out victorious thanks to goals from junior Haley Brown and sophomore Kaya Hawkinson. Following that, the team along with family, friends and alumni gathered at the Golleher Alumni House on campus for the program's annual Kick-Off Fundraiser. The 200+ people in attendance raised nearly $30,000 for the women's soccer program!

The team was split into two teams and they played two 30-minute halves. After a scoreless first period, Brown broke the deadlock at the 41:52 mark off a wonderful ball from senior midfielder Atlanta Primus. Just a minute later, junior attacker Callie Petrey-Juarez made a run up the left side of the pitch and found Hawkinson in the middle of the box with space. Hawkinson calmly received the ball and buried the shot to secure the win for the blue squad.
Head coach Demian Brown and his squad will head to CSUN for an exhibition match on August 17 at 7 p.m. PT as the final tune-up before the season-opening match against Arizona State on Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. PT in Titan Stadium.
PARKING
CSUF requires a parking permit for all weekday games. Beginning July 1st, parking on campus will be $10 for an All-Day permit Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm Friday until 5pm. After 5pm on Friday, Permits are not required, as well as on the weekend. Park and Pay stalls Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (Friday until 5pm) are $4 for 1-hour, $8 for 2-hours. Permits can be purchased in parking lots at the permit machines and accept only major credit cards.
