ROTTERDAM, Netherlands – After another day filled with travel, the Titans took on Excelsior Barendrecht of the Eredivisie League and defeated them with a score of 3-0 before the game would be canceled due to inclement weather.
Early Tuesday morning, Fullerton began their voyage to Amsterdam where the team enjoyed a guided bicycle tour through the historical city.
After the tour, the Titans loaded the bus and made their way to Rotterdam to face off against Excelsior Barendrecht.
Nano Oronoz got Fullerton on the right track early as she scored the first goal to lift the Titans to a 1-0 lead.
Callie Petrey-Juarez extended the Titans lead after receiving the ball from Oronoz to keep Fullerton up as the first half came to a close.
As the storm clouds rolled over Rotterdam, the second half commenced and Taylor Salgado netted the game's last goal. Minutes into the second half, the referee evacuated the field due to lightning.
Mother Nature was not going to let up and soon the game was canceled.

"All the things the women have gone through and everything we've done has been fantastic," said Head Coach Demian Brown. He went on to say, "I'm really impressed with how they played today and the goals that we scored."
Fullerton will head to Ireland on Wednesday afternoon and end their European excursion in Dublin.
The Titans will face off against Shelbourne FC on Friday at 10:30 a.m PST.
