FULLERTON, Calif. – Sunday night's win by the Titans marked the 100th career win for head coach Demian Brown. With the win, the Titans move to 8-2-2, the Matadors now 4-4-4.

"It is an amazing thing to over the last 11 years get to the point where we can celebrate something like this," said head coach Demian Brown. "It is a fantastic honor for me but obviously, I share it with a lot of women who do a massive amount of work and a fantastic coaching staff."

Tala Haddad shot the game-winning goal for the Titans in the 20th minute.  Haddad received the ball from Samantha Koemans and netted her third goal of the season.

Jazzmin Mancilla notched her first goal of the season in the 71st minute after she centered the ball to the box and the ball was misplayed by the goalie.  Mancilla comes off an ACL injury which ended her 2016 season.

The Titans kept the momentum going as freshmen Haley Brown headed the ball in with the assist from Atlanta Primus and Koemans in the 72nd minute.  This would become Brown's first goal of the season.

Nano Oronoz and the defense dominated as they kept the Matadors to two shots. In goal, Morgan Bertsch accounted one save and played all 90 minutes.

Fullerton once again out-cornered their opponent 4-1.

The Titans look forward to a week filled with more conference action as they play at UC Riverside Thursday at 5:00 p.m. PT, and then Sunday at Long Beach State at 6:00 p.m. PT.
