FULLERTON, Calif.– Hailey Pohevitz netted her first goal of the season in the sixth minute to put the Titans up 1-0 against the alumni Saturday night at Titan Stadium. Fullerton kept the momentum on their side all night as they finalized the game 5-1.
Alyssa Shelton knocked one into the goal in the 48th minute. Dani Baldwin followed with a goalof her own in the 56th minute.
Kandace Love got the alumni on the board with her goal in the 84th minute. Love played for the Titans during 2002-2005 season.
Fullerton answered back with a goal by Haley Brown in the 84th minute. Hailey Pohevitz closed the game with her second goal of the match in the 89th minute putting the Titans on top 5-1.
"This is a lot of fun to be able to have our alumni come back," said head coach Demian Brown. "For our current players to get a chance to play against our Titan greats like Morgan Batcheller, Kandace Wilson, and Rebecca Wilson, is just a really awesome opportunity."
Titans hit the road and look to capitalize on their existing two game win streak as they take on Denver, Monday at 6 p.m. PT in Denver, CO.
