IRVINE, Calif. – After an 8-10-1 season last year, the Titans are looking to bounce back and contend for the Big West Conference Championship, and that's exactly what they've been picked to do, as they've been picked to finish second behind reigning champions Long Beach State, according to the Big West Conference preseason poll released on Thursday.
In 2016, head coach Demian Brown lead the Titans to the first round of the Big West Conference Tournament where they would unfortunately lose in PK's to UC Irvine 1-1 in Long Beach, Calif.
The Titans hold three Big West Championships within the past four years, and seek their seventh tournament title during their 2017 campaign.
Fullerton will compete in its final exhibition fixture on Saturday, as it'll take on San Diego State at 5 pm PT in Titan Stadium. The Titans will open up the regular season on Friday, August 18th vs. Seattle.
