The match will be rescheduled for a future date during the spring season.
The Titans will return to action on March 26, as Fullerton will play a pair of games in two different locations. The Titans will play at Loyola Marymount at 11 a.m. and then return home to take on San Diego for a 5 p.m. kickoff from Titan Stadium.
Loyola Marymount had a solid season in 2016, going 11-5-3 overall with a 6-3-0 record in West Coast Conference play. The Titans and Lions faced off in an exhibition game on Aug. 12 with LMU scoring a 2-1 victory at Titan Stadium.
The Toreros went 10-8-1 in 2016 with a 5-4-0 mark in the West Coast Conference and edged the Titans, 1-0, on Sept. 23 at Torero Stadium in the final seconds of regulation.
For the fourth consecutive year, the Titans will partner with Soccer For Hope, a non-profit cancer awareness foundation, to help spread cancer awareness on April 1 at Titan Stadium. Fullerton faces CSU San Marcos in the first game of the day at noon followed by CSU San Marcos taking on CSUN at 2 p.m. The day concludes with youth games and the Soccer for Hope event at 3:50 p.m. and then the Titans taking on CSUN at 5 p.m.
For more than 10 years, Cal State Fullerton has supported Soccer For Hope with student-athletes participating in yearly youth camps that the organization hosts to support children and families affected by cancer.
Soccer For Hope is an organization founded by Oliver & Jamie Wyss in 1998. Oliver is a former professional soccer player and survivor of Aplastic Anemia. The organization has been driven by its goal to raise funds and awareness for children with life-threatening diseases.
