• The Titans' four goals in Sunday's win over Cal Poly were a season high.

• Fullerton scored six goals in two matches this past weekend after scorning six total goals in the previous 10 matches. It also tied the largest margin of victory over Cal Poly in program history.

• Head coach Demian Brown is in his 10th season at the helm of the Titans. Cal State Fullerton is 89-82-25 under Brown. In conference play, the Titans are 42-27-6 under Brown with four Big West regular season championships and four Big West Tournament titles, including an active streak of three straight.

IN THE POLLS

The Titans, Aggies and 49ers are all unranked in this week's NSCAA Top-25 poll and NSCAA West Region poll.

OPPONENT AND HISTORY

at UC Davis

4 p.m. | Thursday, Oct. 6 | Aggie Soccer Field

• The Titans play their first road game of Big West play this week when they face the Aggies on Thursday. The Titans are still in search of their first road win of the season and will look to get it at a place where they hold a 5-1-1 overall record. The teams played to a 1-1 tie in their last matchup at Aggie Soccer Field in 2014.

• Thursday's match will be the Aggies' conference home opener and second conference match. They played CSUN to a scoreless draw last week.

• The Aggies are 0-1-2 in their last three matches, all road contests. At home, the Aggies have been solid, winning three of four matches.

• Aggies goalkeeper Alexis Smith has played in every match for UC Davis. All four of her victories have come by way of shutout.

Long Beach State

5 p.m. | Sunday, Oct. 9 | Titan Stadium

• The Titans and 49ers meet for the 21st time overall and sixth time in the last three years. The teams have met once in the regular season and again in the Big West Conference Tournament each of the last two seasons, with Fullerton winning both tournament contests while going 0-1-1 in the regular season meetings.

• Overall, the Titans hold a slight 10-8-2 edge over Long Beach State but are 3-5-1 against the 49ers at Titan Stadium.

• The 49ers, who were picked to win the Big West in the preseason coaches poll, are led by Ashley Gonzales and her six goals, a mark which ranks third in the Big West Conference.

OLD FRIEND ALERT ON ESPN3

This Sunday's match will be broadcast on ESPN3 with David Gascon and former Cal State Fullerton women's soccer head coach Ali Khosroshahin on the call. Khosroshahin led the women's soccer team from 2001-06 and compiled a 76-40-6 overall record including a 34-13-3 Big West Conference record. The Titans won three regular season conference titles (2001, 2004-05) and back-to-back (2005-06) conference tournament titles.

MORALES NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Drawing her first starts of the season this past weekend; Maribell Morales notched three goals in two matches including a pair in Sunday's 4-0 victory over Cal Poly. A transfer out of Iowa State, Morales entered this season with just two goals in 32 games through two seasons with the Cyclones. She surpassed that total in one weekend and now leads the Titans with three goals this season.

FAJNOR NETS A PAIR

Sarah Fajnor found the back of the net for the first time this weekend, scoring once against UC Riverside and then putting away a penalty kick in Sunday's win over Cal Poly. Fajnor also added an assist in Sunday's match and now has six points, which is tied for second on the team.

MORGAN'S TOWN

Morgan Bertsch drew her third start of the season in Sunday's 4-0 shutout victory over Cal Poly. Bertsch tallied two saves en route to recording her third career shutout and first win of the season. This season, Bertsch has played in four matches and has a 0.36 goals against average and a .886 save percentage in just less than 247 minutes of action.

#STARTBIG

The Titans have started 2-0-0 in conference play for the first time under Demian Brown and just the fifth time in program history. The last time the Titans won their first two games of the conference schedule was in 2006. That team would go on to advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, falling to No. 3 UCLA on the road.

STUART STATUS

Redshirt senior and reigning Big West Conference Goalkeeper of the Year Jennifer Stuart suffered a minor injury to her elbow during warm ups prior to Sunday's match against Cal poly. She is not expected to play Thursday at UC Davis but could be back for Sunday's match against Long Beach State. Stuart has recorded 30 wins in her Titans career, which ranks second on the Titans all-time record book behind Karen Bardsley, who won 47 games in her Cal State Fullerton career.

HISTORIC SCORING DROUGHT

The Titans were shutout in four straight matches for the first time program history from Sept. 11-23. Fullerton was held scoreless for 459:29, the longest scoring drought in program history.

DEFENSE HOLDING STRONG

The Titans defense has yet to allow more than two goals in a match this season and have allowed multiple goals just three times, the last coming in a 2-0 loss at Arizona State on Sept. 16. The defense has made sure to get in the line of fire this year. Fullerton has allowed 147 shots this season but has blocked 38 of them.
