RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton's five-match unbeaten streak was snapped in a 1-0 loss to UC Riverside at UCR Soccer Stadium on Sunday night.

Cal State Fullerton (6-4-4, 1-1-1) took a match-high 10 shots – seven on goal - but UCR's defense didn't break. The Highlanders improve to 6-8-1 on the year and 3-1 in Big West Conference play.

Chelsey Patterson led the Titans with three strikes on frame.

Fullerton has now been shut out on five occasions in 2013.
