SENIOR (2014)
Started all 22 matches at right back and was named Big West Conference honorable mention as Cal State Fullerton won the 2014 Big West Conference regular season and tournament championships while making an appearance in the NCAA Tournament…also played a role as Fullerton set a program record with an eight-match unbeaten streak (6-0-2) in Big West Conference action…helped the Titans finish the regular season on a 10-match unbeaten streak and a seven match-winning streak…the Titans shutout streak of 326 minutes, 26 seconds from Oct. 5-23, marked the ninth longest in program history...Fullerton’s seven shutouts tied for third in the Big West as did the Titans’ 1.02 goals against average…in Big West games only, the Titans tied for the league lead with five goals allowed and a 0.59 goals against average…scored her only goal of the season in a 4-1 victory vs. Idaho State (09/18)…delivered her first assist of the year on a corner kick which set up Rebecca Wilson’s game-tying goal in a come-from-behind 2-1 victory at Hawai’i (10/02)…was named the Big West Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 27 after helping the Titans to wins over UC Irvine (10/23) and UC Riverside (10/26)… anchored the Titan defensive effort in holding UC Irvine and UC Riverside to a combined six shots on frame with the 3-1 and 1-0 victories clinching the Titans a spot in the Big West Tournament. Against the Highlanders, got involved offensively as her 32nd minute pass to Rebecca Wilson led to the only goal of the match in CSF's 1-0 win over UCR.  Later in the match, she saved what would have been the game-tying goal off the goal line in the 57th minute.

JUNIOR (2013)
Started all 22 matches for the Titans on the backline as Fullerton won its fourth Big West Tournament title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the fifth time in program history...delivered two assists on the year in Fullerton’s 2-1 win over Gonzaga. Just two-and-a-half minutes after Gonzaga had equalized in the 71st minute, pushed in on the right side of the box delivering a chip to Erica Mazeau near the endline, who then skidded a low ball that found its way through the goalkeeper’s legs to a charging Janali West at the left post. On the first goal of the game, Chelsey Patterson put Fullerton on the board first in the 29th minute as Ortega sprung her with a long ball down the right side. Patterson’s shot curved into the left-side netting for a goal and a 1-0 lead (09/29)…was part of a Titan defense that led the Big West in goals allowed (17) and goals against average (0.71) while also totaling seven shutouts…was part of a defense that held opponents goalless for over 351 minutes with a 1-0 win over Fresno State (08/25), a scoreless tie with Utah (08/30), a 2-0 victory over Montana (09/01) and a 1-0 loss at Texas Tech (09/06)…at the Big West Tournament, converted Fullerton’s second penalty kick attempt against Cal Poly in the semifinals.

SOPHOMORE (2012)
Appeared in nine matches for the Titans...netted her first collegiate point on Sept. 14 against Army with an assist... ook single shots at Michigan State (Aug. 26) and against Cal Poly (Oct. 21).

FRESHMAN (2011)
Appeared in eight matches...took a shot in four of her eight appearances, including a career-high two shots against UC Davis in the regular season finale on Oct. 30...also had shots against UNLV (Sept. 25), Long Beach State (Oct. 9), and CSU Bakersfield (Oct. 16).

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2011 graduate of Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, Calif...four-year letter winner for the Centurions...won three Foothill League titles as a freshman, junior and senior while helping lift Saugus HS to a CIF Southern Section Division II title as a sophomore... three-time all-league selection, including second-team honors as a sophomore as a first-team honors as a junior and senior...Foothill League Player of the Year as a senior.

PERSONAL
Born in Valencia, Calif...parents are Mac and Diane...has three older sisters: Mary, Annie, and Erin... sociology major...also considered UNLV, Cal State Northridge, and Long Beach State...her sister, Erin, is currently a senior for the UC Santa Barbara women’s soccer team while sisters Mary (Cal State Northridge, 2003, 2005-06) and Annie (Kansas Wesleyan) also played collegiately...played club soccer for Real So Cal, helping her side to a Surf Cup championship.
