Former Cal State Fullerton letter winner Lauren Kelly returns to
Titan Stadium as an undergraduate assistant coach for the 2013
season after injuries prematurely ended her playing
career.
CAL STATE FULLERTON
REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2012): Appeared in first two
matches of the regular season on the back line against USC and at
Loyola Marymount before going down to injury.
REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2011): Started two matches
against Pepperdine and BYU before suffering a season-ending leg
injury... took one shot against the Waves on Aug. 26.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2010): Appeared in 14 matches,
making nine starts... finished with five shots on the season,
including a career-best two shots in matches against UC Santa
Barbara (Oct. 24) and UC Irvine (Oct. 31).
FRESHMAN (2009): Attended the university in the
fall, but did not join the team until the Titans’ spring
season.
BUCHANAN HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year starter for the Bears as a defender... helped Buchanan
HS to four-straight CIF championships... finished prep career with
25 goals and 17 assists... Bears finished second in the state
during her senior season, finishing the year with a 27-4-1
record.
PERSONAL
Born Oct. 30, 1990 in Fresno... parents are Dave and Debi... has
an older brother, Christian... kinesiology major... also considered
Fresno State before selecting Cal State Fullerton... played club
soccer for the East Fresno Fusion United.
