Titans Tied for First After Two Rounds at the Boston College Intercollegiate

CANTON, Mass. – Cal State Fullerton women's golf is tied for first place after two rounds at the Boston College Intercollegiate with a score of 20-over par 596.

Freshman Nodoka Honda leads the team individually as she is tied for third place after shooting a 4-over par 148. Honda shot a 73 in round one and a 75 in the second round. 

Elsa Lundquist is just two strokes behind at 6-over par 150 to leave her tied for ninth place heading into the third and final round of the tournament. Lundquist recorded a 76 in the first round before shooting a 74 in round two. 

Lisa Djef and Brittany Shin are tied for 22nd with a score of 9-over par 153. Djerf shot a 75 and 78 while Shin finished the day with an 84 and an impressive 3-under par 69 in the second round to finish the day. 

Texie Petchel rounds out the group as she is tied for 25th place after shooting a 10-over par 154. Petchel shot a 79 to start the day and finished strong with a 75 in round two. 

The Titans return for the third and final round Tuesday morning looking to earn another tournament victory.
