MOORPARK, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton women's golf finished the Big West Championships tied for fifth place Wednesday afternoon with a score of 49-over par 913.
Texie Petchel led the Titans individually with as she finished the tournament in 10th place with a score of 9-over par 225. Petchel shot a 72 in round one followed by a 77 and a 76 in the third and final round.
Courtney Sharkey wrapped up day three in a tie for 15th place after shooting a 12-over par 228. Sharkey shot a 76 in round one with a 75 in round two and a 77 in round three. Elsa Lundquist came finished tied for 25th place with a score of 15-over par 231 after shooting a 75, 77 and 79 throughout the three rounds.
Lisa Djerf finished just one stroke back with a 16-over par 232 to leave her in 27th place. Djerf shot a 75, 81 and 76. Felicia Medalla placed 36th after shooting a 24-over par 240 with scores of 73, 86 and 81.
Long Beach State took first place for the second consecutive year with a score of 22-over par 886. Haley Tygret finished first individually after shooting a 4-under par 212.
