MOORPARK, Calif. – After one round at the Big West Championships Cal State Fullerton is tied for first place with a score of 7-over par 295.
Senior Texie Petchel leads the Titans and is tied for second overall with a score of even at par 72 after one round Monday afternoon. Felicia Medalla is tied for sixth at 1-over par 73 heading into day two of the tournament.
Lisa Djerf and Elsa Lundquist are not far behind with a score of 3-over par 75 to leave them tied for eighth place after one round at the Big West Championships. Courtney Sharkey is tied for 13th place with a score of 4-over par 76.
Cal State Fullerton women's golf team returns to action Tuesday morning for the second round of the Big West Championships.
