IRVINE, Calif. – The Titans finished the first round of the Big West Championship at Strawberry Farms Golf Club Sunday in third place with a score of 15-over par 299.
Long Beach State leads the field with a score of 1-over par 285. The Titans are just four strokes behind UC Davis in second place at 11-over par 295. Jennifer Yu of Long Beach leads the competition individually at 1-under par 70.
Britney Sok and Elsa Lundquist lead the Titans individually with a score of 2-over par 73 to finish day one tied for 9th place. Freshman Courtney Sharkey is tied for 14th place after round one at 4-over par 75.
Pauline Welker is tied for 28th place at 7-over par 78 while Lou Daniella Uy is in 39th place with a score of 14-over par 85.
The Titans return to action for round two of the tournament Monday morning with tee times beginning at 10 a.m. PT. Fullerton is paired up with first place Long Beach State and second place UC Davis for round two. You can follow all the action of the final two round on Golfstat.com.
