KAPALUA, Hawaii – Cal State Fullerton women's golf fell back to tied for 10th place after round two at the Ānuenue Spring Break Classic Tuesday afternoon, shooting a 17-over par 305. Fullerton has a total score of 36-over par 612.
The Titans were tied for ninth place after the first round of the tournament and fell back to 10th even after improving on their round one score by two strokes.
Santa Clara, UC Irvine and Cal Poly are just four strokes ahead of the Titans at 32-over par 608 to place tied for 6th place.
Host university, Hawaii, leads the field with a score of 3-over par 579. Louisville sits two strokes behind them at 5-over par 581.
Freshman Courtney Sharkey continues to impress, placing tied for 17th place after the completion of round two with a score of 5-over par 149. Sharkey shot a 2-over par 74 in round one and a 3-over par 75 in round two.
Elsa Lundquist sits just one stroke behind Sharkey at 6-over par 150. Lundquist shot a 3-over par 75 in both rounds one and two. Lundquist looks to finish strong in round three as she has done all season. She is just three strokes out of another top-10 finish.
Pauline Welker is tied for 44th place heading into round three with a score of 11-over par 155. Welker shot a 5-over par 77 in round one and a 6-over par 78 in round two.
Brittany Farrell moved up from tied for 62nd place to a tie for 54th place after round two. Farrell Shot a 5-over par 77 in the second round of the tournament after shooting a 9-over par 81 in the first round. Felicia Medalla is in 60th place heading into the third and final round after shooting a 16-over par 160.
The Titans look to finish the third and final round of the Ānuenue Spring Break Classic Wednesday with tee times beginning at 10:45 PT. Follow all the action of the third round on GolfStat.com.
