SANTA ANA, Calif. – After two rounds of the UC Irvine Invitational Monday at the Santa Ana Country Club, Cal State Fullerton women's golf is tied for seventh with a 26-over par 602.
Fullerton moved up three spots in the second round of the tournament after shooting a 7-over par 295. The Titans were tied for 10th following round one with a score of 19-over par 307.
Colorado State is in first place with a 3-over par 579. Big West opponents Long Beach State and UC Irvine are tied for second at 9-over par 585.
Brittany Farrell leads the Titans tied for 10th place with a 2-over par 146 through two rounds. Farrell, like the Titans squad as a whole, improved in the second round of the day. She improved from tied 18th after the first round to 10th following a even at par 72 score in round two.
Elsa Lundquist is not far behind at 4-over par 148 which has her tied for 18th place. Lundquist shot a 1-over par 73 in round one but fell back slightly in round two with a score of 3-over par 75. Lou Daniella Uy is tied 40th with a 9-over par 153.
Pauline Welker is fourth on the Titans squad individually after finishing day one tied for 44th with a 11-over par 155. Britney Sok is 66th after shooting a 20-over par 164 while Felicia Medalla is tied 67th at 22-over par 166.
The Titans return to the green Tuesday morning for the third and final round of the UC Irvine Invitational.
