KAPALUA, Hawaii - Martina Edberg is three shots off the lead and Cal State Fullerton sits in seventh place following the conclusion of the first round of the Big West Conference championships at the Kapalua Bay Golf Course.

Edberg shot a 2-over 74 on Sunday afternoon to place herself in a tie for third place after the first 18 holes. Edberg is two shots back of day-one leader Paige Lee of UC Davis, who shot an even-par 72 Sunday. Edberg posted four birdies on the day but four bogeys and a double bogey put sent her score in the black.

Collectively, the Titans finished with a 36-over 324 to place seventh after the first day. Cal Poly leads the field with a 17-over 305 while UC Riverside, Long Beach State and UC Davis are each tied for second with a 20-over 308.

Pauline Welker is currently tied for 27th place after shooting a 10-over 82 on Sunday. Felicia Medalla, Brittany Farrell and Brittney Sok are all tied for 33rd overall with a 12-over 84 after the first day.

The Titans will return to the links Monday for the second round of the Big West Conference championships with a shotgun start set for 10:30 a.m. PT.
