BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. – Cal State Fullerton dropped a couple of spots in the team standings while junior Martina Edberg remained in the hunt at the conclusion of round two Saturday at the Bryan National Collegiate hosted by Wake Forest and UNC Greensboro at the Bryan Park Champions Course.

The Titans shot a 23-over 312 on Saturday and are currently in 13th place after starting the day in 11th. Fullerton is at a 43-over 619 through 36 holes, one stroke behind Michigan and 15 ahead of Penn State. All teams are looking up at No. 20 Virginia, which shot a 7-over 295 on Saturday and sits in first place with a collective 8-over 584 through 36 holes, leading second-place Florida State by five strokes.

Meanwhile, Edberg matched her opening round score of 74 on Saturday and currently sits a 4-over, placing her in a six-way tie for ninth place heading into the final round. Edberg trails leader Matilda Castren of Florida State by six strokes after Castren shot a 1-under 71 on Saturday, putting her a 2-under for the tournament and making her the only player in the 84-participant field with a score under par after 36 holes.

Brittney Sok was one of two Titans to improve on her opening round score on Saturday. The freshman posted a 4-over 76 in the second round, one stroke better than her 77 on Friday. Sok is currently at 9-over for the tournament and is tied for 41st overall.

Nadine Rivera also improved on her opening round score after shooting a 7-over 79 on Saturday, also a stroke better than Friday's round. Rivera is at 15-over and is tied for 58th going into the final round.

Pauline Welker rounded out Fullerton's overall team score as the freshman posted an 11-over 83 on Saturday, putting her at 17-over through 36 holes, which is tied for 67th.

After posting a 78 on Friday, Felicia Medalla struggled on Saturday and posted a 12-over 84 to place her at 71st overall with a 36-hole score of 162, 18-over for the tournament.

The Titans will return for the final round on Sunday morning with a shotgun start scheduled for 8:30 a.m. ET/5:30 a.m. PT.
