SEAL BEACH, Calif. - Junior Martina Edberg earned a top-10 finish and Cal State Fullerton placed 11th overall in the team standings Tuesday at The Gold Rush hosted by Long Beach State at the Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach, Calif.
Edberg shot a 1-over 73 on Tuesday to complete the tournament with a 3-over 219, seven strokes behind medalist Robynn Ree of USC, who finished with a 4-under 212 for the tournament.
As for the Titans, Fullerton posted its best score of the three rounds with a 308 on Tuesday to finish the 54-hole event with a 931.
Freshman Felicia Medalla just missed out on her first career top-10 finish, tying for 12th place with a 6-over 222 after posting her best career round 1-under 71 on Tuesday.
Brittany Farrell posted a 9-over 81 for the second consecutive round to finish up with a 241. Dakota Brown rounded out the Titans scoring with a 11-over 83 on Tuesday,
Nadine Rivera posted her best round of the 54 holes on Tuesday, carding a 12-over 84.
The Titans will return to the links on March 7 at the Fresno State Classic hosted by Fresno State University.
