FULLERTON, Calif. -- Cal State Fullerton sophomore Tisha Alyn Abrea earned her second All-Big West Conference honor of her career on Wednesday, named to the league's honorable mention team as the conference announced its postseason honor roll.

Abrea, who was a second-team all-conference selection as a freshman in 2011-12, finished tied for 10th overall at the recent Big West Championships -- her second consecutive top-10 at the league's championship event -- helping the Titans to a fifth-place finish as a team.

The Murrieta, Calif., native was one of two Fullerton golfers to compete in all nine events this season, posting a 76.30 scoring average to stand second on the team. Abrea posted four, top-10 finishes and added two more in the top 15, including a season-best tie for fourth at The Gold Rush hosted by Long Beach State on Feb. 11-12 in Yorba Linda, Calif.

She tied a career low with a 1-under-par 71 in the second round of the BYU at Entrada Classic on March 18-19, while shooting a season-best 224 (73-77-74) over three rounds at the Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate hosted by Wyoming on Oct. 13-14 in Palm Desert, Calif.

Abrea is one of only two Titan golfers to earn All-Big West honors since the program was reinstated in 2009-10, joining Taylor Fowler, who was an honorable mention selection as a junior last year.
