Levingston and Strachan Join Women's Basketball Program

FULLERTON, Calif. - The Titans women's basketball program has announced the signing of Eva Levingston and Emily Strachan for the 2023-24 season.

"Really happy and blessed to be able to add Eva and Emily to our program. I truly feel they both have the ability to make a huge impact for us next season," Head Coach Jeff Harada said. "They are both very, very good players, but also very high-character young women."

Levingston joins Cal State Fullerton as a freshman from Piedmont High School. The guard/forward finished the 2023 season with 16 points, 12 rebounds, two blocks, and three steals, earning her CIF All-State, All-Bay Area, and WACC First Team accolades.

"Definitely excited about Eva joining our program and family. She comes from an excellent high school program where she was well coached and helped lead her team to CIF State Championships," Harada said. "She has a great skill set, but more importantly, possesses intangibles that can't be taught. A tough and physical 6'0 guard/forward, her versatility will pose matchup challenges for our opponents."

Strachan comes to Cal State Fullerton as a junior transfer after spending two years at Central Maine Community College. While with the Mustangs, she was co-captain and led her team in averaging 26.2 minutes, 13.8 points, 2.3 assists and 4.1 steals per game.

"Emily is an experienced, dynamic guard and high-level scorer who fits in perfectly to our offensive system. Her motor is non-stop, and her outgoing personality, work ethic, and maturity will definitely help our team," Harada said. "To be named by the WBCA as one of the top 10 Junior College players in the nation speaks for itself and we are thrilled that she is coming to the other side of the country to become a Titan."

The guard received several accolades at Central Maine Community College. She was named to the All-Yankee Small College Conference First Team and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Two-Year College Coaches' All-American Team. She also received the USCAA National Player of the Week and the Yankee Conference Player of the Week awards.

"I know Titan fans will really enjoy getting to know them and watching them play," Harada said. "Very proud to have them join our Titan Ohana."
