FULLERTON, Calif. – Following her outstanding performance in the Titans win over Pepperdine, Gabi Vidmar has been named Big West Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. 

Vidmar earned her first career player of the week honor after scoring a game-high 17 points on 6-of-13 shooting including an impressive 5-of-11 from behind the three-point arc. Vidmar also grabbed eight rebounds and recorded five steals. Vidmar leads the country in steals per game with 4.6. 

Through five games this season Vidmar is averaging 12 points per game with a team-high 7.6 rebounds per game while shooting 40 percent from three-point range. 

The Titans are back in action Tuesday night at Titan Gym as they host Pacific at 7:00 p.m. PT.
