COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Cal State Fullerton women's basketball fell to Air Force on the road Saturday afternoon by a final score of 67-59.
Una Jovanovic led the team offensively with a career-high 14 points on 6-of-11 from the floor. Jovanovic scored 14 of the team's 20 bench points. Fujika Nimmo added 13 on an efficient 5-of-10 shooting.
After falling behind early in the game the Titans went on a 6-0 run to take the lead midway through the first quarter. Ashlee Lewis drilled a jumper from just outside the free-throw line to give Fullerton its first lead of the game. Lewis had nine points and a game-high 11 rebounds.

With the Titans trailing by five points late in the first half, Lily Wahinekapu hit a floater off the backboard to make it a 26-29 game at halftime. Wahinekapu had 10 points on 4-of-9 shooting.

Every time Air Force looked to pull away in the second half the Titans hit timely buckets and got stops to hang around. Trailing 39-46 Nimmo hit a shot from the elbow after losing the defender to bring Fullerton within five.

The team continued to battle Air Force for the entirety of the game but came up short in the fourth quarter. Fullerton is back at Titan Gym Tuesday to host Virginia at 6:00 p.m. PT.
