SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Despite mounting a furious second half rally, the Titans just could not take the lead, falling to the University of San Francisco 63-71.

Three Titans scored in double-figures, led by Raina Perez with 19 points on 8-16 shooting and five assists.  Following right behind Perez was Taylor Turney, who contributed 16 points and eight rebounds.  Carolyn Gill added 14 points, going 6-9 from the floor.

Despite shooting 43.8% compared to USF's 33.8%, the Titans could only make two 3-pointers, while the Dons knocked down eight.  USF also led the Titans from the free throw line, shooting 17-21 while the Titans shot 5-10.

Rebounding helped to keep the Titans in the game, as Fullerton was only outrebounded by one.  Joy Krupa hauled down an incredible 15 boards to lead both squads.

The Titans (4-5, 0-0 BWC) will travel south to San Diego on Saturday for a 2:00 p.m. game with USD in the Jenny Craig Pavilion.
