IRVINE, Calif. - Three Titans have earned end of the season All-Big West awards, including Amiee Book being named Best Sixth Player. Book was also named to the All-Freshman Team, while Daeja Smith earns First Team honors and Raina Perez garners an honorable mention. The news was announced Monday morning by the Big West Conference.

The freshman from New Zealand joined the Titans and made an immediate impact on the team. Book started out the season with five straight double-digit scoring games and proved how much of a sharpshooter she would be from beyond the arc. For the season, she shot 104-208 (50%) from the field and 47-107 (43.9%) from three. She already ranks as the number one three-point shooter (min. 100 attempts) in program history beating out Autumn Hollyfield (1993-95) for the top spot. In single-season history, her 43.9% ranks third best all-time and is the best mark since 2010-11. Overall, Book averaged 9.9 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per game.

Smith started off the year earning accolades being named to the Lisa Leslie Award Watch List to start the season and she ends the year with an All-Big West First Team selection. The redshirt senior has etched her name into the Cal State Fullerton record books, ranking second all-time in blocks (144), third in rebounds (851), third in double-doubles (32), ninth in field goal percentage (49.3%), and is one of only three Titans to ever accumulate over 1,100 career points as well as 850 rebounds. Smith finishes her senior season with a team-high 13.1 points per game, 8.8 rebounds per game, and 1.5 blocks per game.

Perez was forced to redshirt last season, but when she hit the court this year, she made her presence felt. In her first game as a Titan, she dropped 20 points against Washington and followed that up with a 13-point, 13-assist game against Cal Baptist. For the season, the redshirt sophomore averaged 12.9 points per game and had a team-high 22 double-figure scoring games. She also led the team averaging 4.9 assists per game and led the conference averaging 35.8 minutes per game.

Historically, this is the first time the Titans have had multiple All-Big West award recipients since 2014-15. Smith is also the first Titan to earn a First Team selection since that same season. Book is the first to be named to the All-Freshman Team since Michelle Berry in 2015-16.
