50TH ANNIVERSARY
This season marks the 50th year of women's basketball at Cal State Fullerton. The program made its debut in the 1969-70 season and won the CIAW National Championship that year. The program's history was celebrated January 5 against Hawaii

LAST TIME OUT
Fullerton played a pair of conference games falling to UC Davis 51-75 on the road. Amiee Book put up a career-high 18 points and hit a career-best 4 three-pointers while Raina Perez had another double-digit scoring performance with 15 points.

The Titans returned home to host Cal Poly and came out with a 78-64 win. Daeja Smith led the way with her fifth double-double of the season (19 points, 10 rebounds). Three more Titans saw double-figures as Book and Perez put up 15 points each and Hannah Thompson had 11 points.

IN THE RECORD BOOKS
Several Titans have found their way into the record books on the all-time career leaderboards:

Hannah Thompson.....3rd in Three-Point Percentage (36.9%)
Jade Vega.................8th in Assists (353)
Daeja Smith..............2nd in Blocks (126)
...............................3rd in Double-Doubles (26)
...............................5th in Rebounds (749)
...............................9th in Field Goal Percentage (49.3%)

A GRAND ACCOMPLISHMENT
Daeja Smith had a 13-point performance in the conference opener giving her 1,000th for her career. She becomes just the 24th player in program history to accompish the feat.

ROAD TO 1K
With Daeja joining the 1,000-point club, next up is Jade Vega. The senior currently sits at 988 points with 13 games left to play in the season.

EXCLUSIVE CLUB
Daeja Smith hit 1,000 career points to go along with her 700-career rebounds. That makes her just the 7th player in program history to reach both of those marks. She currently sits at 1,024 points and 749 rebounds.

DAEJA-VU
Picking up where she left off last year, Daeja Smith has shown why she's on the Lisa Leslie Award watch list. Through 16 games, she has four double-doubles, averaging 13.4 ppg and 9.5 rpg. Her best game came against CBU when she set a career-high 26 points to go along with 16 rebounds.

GAME CHANGER
Raina Perez was forced to redshirt last season, but has shown everyone what she's capable of already this year. After missing the first game, she is averaging13.9 points per game and 5.4 assists in 35.5 minutes per game, all of which lead the team. She has also scored in double-figures in all but two games this year.

RED HOT KIWI
Freshman Amiee Book has been absolutely on fire from the field this season. In twelve games, she is shooting 54.2% (65-120) from the field and 50% (29-58) from three. She also ranks 12th in the Big West with 11.7 ppg and has scored in double-figures in eleven of her fifteen games this season.

SHARING IS CARING
This year's Fullerton team plays very unselfishly passing up good shots for great shots. Because of that, they have 250 assists on the year averaging 15.6 per game. They currently rank 60th in all of NCAA in assists per game.

ON FIRE FROM THE FIELD
The Titans have shot lights out from the field so far this year, leading the conference shooting 43.7% from the field leading to 67.2 points per game which is the third highest scoring team in the Big West. The 43.7% mark ranks 52nd in the nation.

HITTING DOUBLE-FIGURES
Fullerton defeated Cal Poly on January 19th giving them 10 wins on the season. It marks the first time the program has seen double-digit wins since 2014-15. It's also the fastest a Titans team has reached 10 victories since the 1990-91 season.

BEST YEAR IN ALMOST THREE DECADES
Cal State Fullerton has seen some rough seasons in recent years, but this year's squad is changing that. They went 8-5 in the non-conference portion of their schedule which is the best mark since the 1990-91 team. That year, the Titans went 11-4 in non-conference play and finished the season with a 25-8 record. It's the last time the women's basketball program has seen a record over .500
