FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton won their fifth straight game to move to 7-4 on the season with a 77-65 victory over the University of Antelope Valley. This marks the first five-game winning streak for the program since 2008.

Daeja Smith led all scorers with 22 points and pulling down eight rebounds, five of which came on the offensive end. Carolyn Gill might not have been the leading scorer, but she had herself a career game with 20 points, 16 rebounds, three steals, and three assists. The 20 points sets her career-high while the 16 rebounds matches her career-high. Raina Perez was the only other Titan in double-figures putting up 16 points and dishing out five assists. Jade Vega was also dishing out assists finishing with a game-high nine to go along with seven points.

Fullerton came out of the gate slow on the boards allowing UAV seven offensive rebounds in the quarter. The second chance opportunities allowed the Pioneers to come out of the first and had the two teams tied at the half.

The third quarter was very back-and-forth as both teams shot over 50% from the field and the game saw two lead changes and three separate ties.

However, CSF would go on to have a monster fourth quarter shooting 8-12 (66.7%) from the field, 2-3 (66.7%) from three, and 11-12 (91.7%) from the strike. The 29-point quarter matches their highest scoring quarter of the season so far.

Fullerton will look to continue their success after finals when Pacific comes to Titan Gym on Dec. 22.
