THIS WEEK
Cal State Fullerton will close out a four-game homestand on Saturday at Titan Gym, hosting Hawai'i in the final home game of the season. The Titans will conclude the regular season on the road at Cal Poly on Wednesday and at UC Irvine on Saturday.

SENIOR NIGHT
• Prior to Saturday's tip-off, senior center Dhanyel Johnson will be honored in the team's annual senior celebration. Johnson has played the last three seasons for the Titans, appearing in 77 games, scoring 234 points, grabbing 298 rebounds, to go along with 23 steals and 15 blocked shots. Her senior season has been her best yet, averaging 5.1 points per game while also averaging 6.8 rebounds per game to rank ninth in the Big West Conference. This season, Johnson set career bests scoring 19 points at Eastern Washington while pulling down 15 boards at Long Beach State. In her career, she has totaled five double-figure scoring games, seven double-figure rebounding games and three double-doubles.

WEEKLY UPDATE
With three games and two weeks remaining in the regular season, Cal State Fullerton currently sits at ninth in the Big West Conference standings, trailing UC Irvine - in the eighth spot - by one game. The top eight teams in the league standings advance to the Big West Conference Tournament. The Titans defeated UCI, 64-53, on Jan. 14, at Titan Gym. The teams will meet for the second time this year in the regular season finale at UC Irvine on Saturday, March 4.
• The Titans' four overall wins in 2016-17 have eclipsed Fullerton's three wins from a season ago. 
• The Titans enter Saturday's game on a nine-game losing streak.
• Fullerton currently has eight players available for game action.
• Cal State Fullerton has not held the lead in a game this season on nine occasions, including the Titans' last four straight games.

IN THE BIG WEST AND MORE
Iman Lathan is averaging 15.9 points per game, ranking fourth in the Big West Conference. She has led the Titans in scoring on 16 occasions this season and has reached the 20-point plateau 10 times. 
• Sophomore center Daeja Smith's .492 field goal percentage ranks sixth in the Big West Conference and her 7.2 rebounds per game rate fifth. In addition, Smith's 35 blocks rank third in the Big West.
• Senior center Dhanyel Johnson averages 6.8 rebounds per game to rank ninth in the Big West.
• The Titans have been outscored 514-353 in the third quarter this season.

HAWAI'I NOTES
The Rainbow Wahine are coming off a 73-60 victory at UC Irvine on Thursday, snapping a six-game losing streak and picking up their second road victory of the season. Leah Salanoa poured in a career-high 20 points with six 3-pointers, also a career-high, in the game. The win moved Hawai'i to 9-17 overall and 5-9 in Big West Conference play.

ROSTER UPDATE
Keimeshia Walker has left the women's basketball program and Cal State Fullerton to pursue other opportunities.

THE RETURNERS
Fullerton returns to the floor with just one starter from last year, 5-foot-5 sophomore guard, Jade Vega. In total, the Titans return only three letterwinners with sophomore guard Lauren Nubla and senior center Dhanyel Johnson back on the floor. 
 

2017 RECRUITING CLASS
The Cal State Fullerton women's basketball team welcomed four commits to the program as high school seniors Laura Dalton, Xinavane Foreman, Carolyn Gill and Mason VanHouten each signed National Letters of Intent to begin their respective collegiate careers at Fullerton for the 2017-18 season, it was announced by fourth-year head coach Daron Park on Nov. 16.

AWARD SEASON
Junior guard Iman Lathan averaged 23.7 points over three games to earn Big West Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors on Dec. 6.The native of Temecula, Calif., led the Titans in scoring in all three games as they went 2-1 overall. For the week, Lathan averaged 6.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals in addition to leading the Titans in scoring.  She also got to the free throw line extensively, making 17 of her 27 attempts.

LAST TIME OUT
CSUN's Channon Fluker proved why she has been named Big West Conference Player of the Week for three consecutive weeks, leading the Matadors to a 71-54 victory over Cal State Fullerton on Thursday night at Titan Gym.The Titans, who have lost nine in a row, drop to 4-22 overall and 1-12 in the Big West Conference, while CSUN, winners of eight in a row, improve to 16-11 overall and 9-4 in league play.Fluker scored a team-leading 17 points to go along with seven rebounds, a game-high seven assists and a game-high seven blocks, while Tessa Boagni poured in 14 points on 7-of-10 shooting. Hayley Tanabe added 12 points, shooting 4-of-4 from three-point range and Serafina Maulupe chipped in 10 points for CSUN.For the Titans, Iman Lathan led Fullerton for the 16th time this season scoring a game-high 23 points, while Jordan Jackson also finished in double figures with 11. Daeja Smith added nine points and two blocked shots.
