In the midst of a four-game homestand, Cal State Fullerton has just one game on the schedule this week, hosting UC Riverside at 4 p.m. Saturday at Titan Gym as part of a doubleheader with the Titan men's basketball team.

WEEKLY UPDATE
• The Titans' four overall wins in 2016-17 have eclipsed Fullerton's three wins from a season ago. 
• Cal State Fullerton (4-20, 1-10) is currently ninth in the Big West Conference standings, a 1/2 game behind UC Irvine as the Titans try to break into the top eight for a spot in the Big West Conference Tournament.
• The Titans enter Saturday's game on a seven-game losing streak.
• Fullerton currently has eight players available for game action.

IN THE BIG WEST AND MORE
Iman Lathan is averaging 15.7 points per game, ranking fourth in the Big West Conference. She has led the Titans in scoring on 14 occasions this season and has reached the 20-point plateau nine times. 
• Sophomore center Daeja Smith's .509 field goal percentage ranks fifth in the Big West Conference and her 7.6 rebounds per game rate fourth. In addition, Smith's 1.4 blocks per game rank third in the Big West.
• Senior center Dhanyel Johnson averages 6.8 rebounds per game to rank eighth in the Big West.
• The Titans have been outscored 464-326 in the third quarter this season.

SOPHOMORE SUCCESS
• Over the last eight games, Daeja Smith has averaged 10.6 points and 7.9 rebounds per game while shooting 43.3 percent from the floor.
• Fellow sophomore guard Jade Vega has averaged 9.8 points and 2.4 assists per game over the last eight contests.

UC RIVERSIDE NOTES
• Entering the week, UC Riverside women's basketball head coach  John Margaritis needs just three more wins to become the fourth coach ever to reach 200 in league history.
• UC Riverside (13-11, 7-4) enters the week tied for third in the Big West Conference standings.
• The Highlanders rank second in the Big West shooting 41.0 percent from the field, and also rate second holding opponents to a .381 percentage.
• In addition, UCR's 4.3 blocks per game rank second as well as the Highlanders' 16.5 assists per game.
• Rejane Verin leads the Big West averaging 17.2 points per game, and at 956 career points scored, is moving closer to the 1,000-point milestone as she put up 544 points last year, her first with UCR after transferring from UNLV.

ROSTER UPDATE
Keimeshia Walker has left the women's basketball program and Cal State Fullerton to pursue other opportunities.

THE RETURNERS
Fullerton returns to the floor with just one starter from last year, 5-foot-5 sophomore guard, Jade Vega. In total, the Titans return only three letterwinners with sophomore guard Lauren Nubla and senior center Dhanyel Johnson back on the floor. 

2017 RECRUITING CLASS
The Cal State Fullerton women's basketball team welcomed four commits to the program as high school seniors Laura Dalton, Xinavane Foreman, Carolyn Gill and Mason VanHouten each signed National Letters of Intent to begin their respective collegiate careers at Fullerton for the 2017-18 season, it was announced by fourth-year head coach Daron Park on Nov. 16.

AWARD SEASON
Junior guard Iman Lathan averaged 23.7 points over three games to earn Big West Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors on Dec. 6.The native of Temecula, Calif., led the Titans in scoring in all three games as they went 2-1 overall. For the week, Lathan averaged 6.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals in addition to leading the Titans in scoring.  She also got to the free throw line extensively, making 17 of her 27 attempts.

LAST TIME OUT
Cal Poly's defense held Cal State Fullerton to its lowest shooting percentage of the season as the Titans suffered a 69-45 loss to the Mustangs on Saturday night at Titan Gym in Big West Conference action.Fullerton shot 20.0 percent (11-of-55) from the floor and just 16.7 percent (3-of-18) from three-point range, but managed to get to the free-throw line on 32 occasions, converting 20 times.Cal Poly shot 40.9 percent (27-of-66) from the floor as 13 players saw action compared to the Titans' eight. All but one of Cal Poly's players scored, as the Mustangs were led by Lynn Leaupepe's 11-point, 10-rebound performance. Dynn Leaupepe added 10 points and nine boards.Cal State Fullerton was led by Jade Vega's 14-point effort as the sophomore added three steals and shot 6-of-8 from the free-throw line. Iman Lathan recorded her fourth double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Daeja Smith poured in 10 points and two blocked shots.Cal Poly held a 55-34 rebounding advantage scoring 23 second-chance points on 19 offensive rebounds, while the Mustangs also held an advantage in points in the paint (28-14) and bench scoring (32-7).
