THIS WEEK
Coming off its first Big West Conference win of the season, Cal State Fullerton returns to Titan Gym to host UC Davis at 7 p.m., Thursday. The Titans will then travel to UC Riverside for a 7 p.m., start on Saturday from SRC Arena which will be broadcast on ESPN3.

WEEKLY UPDATE
The Titans' four overall wins in 2016-17 have eclipsed Fullerton's three wins from a season ago. Cal State Fullerton enters the week tied for seventh in the Big West Conference standings with UC Irvine and CSUN.

IN THE BIG WEST AND MORE
• Junior guard Iman Lathan is averaging 17.3 points per game to lead the Big West Conference. The junior guard has led the Titans in scoring on 12 occasions this season and has reached the 20-point plateau nine times. The Temecula, Calif., native is also averaging 6.6 rebounds per game, ranking 10th in the league.
• Sophomore center Daeja Smith's .533 field goal percentage ranks third in the Big West Conference and her 7.5 rebounds per game rank fourth. In addition, Smith's 1.4 blocks per game rank fourth in the Big West.
• Senior center Dhanyel Johnson averages 6.8 rebounds per game to rank eighth in the Big West.
• Cal State Fullerton has two players with offensive rebounding averages ranking in the top 10 of the Big West Conference: Daeja Smith (3.4, 2nd) and Dhanyel Johnson (2.9, 3rd).

KEYS TO VICTORY
• Cal State Fullerton is holding opponents to 56.8 points per game in Big West Conference action, but the Titans are averaging just 51.0 ppg.
• Cal State Fullerton is 4-2 when opponents score 59 points or less and 0-11 when opponents score 60 points or more.
• Fullerton is 4-1 when leading at the half, 0-11 when trailing at the break and 0-1 when the score is tied.

UC RIVERSIDE NOTES
• Réjane Verin is averaging 16.9 points per game to rank second in the Big West Conference while her 4.5 assists per game lead the league.

• Réjane Verin leads the league in minutes per game (37.1), Simone DeCoud ranks third (36.3) and Lauren Holt ranks fourth (36.3).

ROSTER UPDATE
Keimeshia Walker has left the women's basketball program and Cal State Fullerton to pursue other opportunities.

THE RETURNERS
Fullerton returns to the floor with just one starter from last year, 5-foot-5 sophomore guard, Jade Vega. In total, the Titans return only three letterwinners with sophomore guard Lauren Nubla and senior center Dhanyel Johnson back on the floor. 

2017 RECRUITING CLASS
The Cal State Fullerton women's basketball team welcomed four commits to the program as high school seniors Laura Dalton, Xinavane Foreman, Carolyn Gill and Mason VanHouten each signed National Letters of Intent to begin their respective collegiate careers at Fullerton for the 2017-18 season, it was announced by fourth-year head coach Daron Park on Nov. 16.

AWARD SEASON
Junior guard Iman Lathan averaged 23.7 points over three games to earn Big West Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors on Dec. 6.The native of Temecula, Calif., led the Titans in scoring in all three games as they went 2-1 overall. For the week, Lathan averaged 6.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals in addition to leading the Titans in scoring.  She also got to the free throw line extensively, making 17 of her 27 attempts.

LAST TIME OUT
Led by a 24-point performance from junior guard Iman Lathan, Cal State Fullerton clinched its first Big West Conference win of the season with a 64-53 victory over UC Irvine at Titan Gym on Saturday night.With the win, Fullerton (4-13, 1-3 BWC) snapped a three-game losing streak as well as a six-game Big West Conference losing streak that dated back to last season. UC Irvine dropped to 3-15 overall and 1-3 in league play.Lathan recorded her third double-double of the year by adding a game-high 10 rebounds as well as four assists, while Daeja Smith poured in 11 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots, shooting 5-of-6 from the free-throw line. Jade Vega chipped in 10 points and four dishes for the Titans.
