THIS WEEK
Cal State Fullerton (2-5) heads out on the road this week to face a pair of Big Sky Conference opponents from the Northwest. The Titans will play at Eastern Washington with an 11 a.m., tip-off on Thursday, followed by a 2 p.m. game, Saturday at Portland State.


WEEKLY RECAP
The Titans won two of their last three games, nabbing their first victory of the season, 97-49, over Whittier College on Nov. 28 at Titan Gym. Fullerton followed that performance with a 72-56 victory over Montana on Wednesday before suffering a 77-62 loss to Loyola Marymount on Sunday.

AWARD SEASON
Junior guard Iman Lathan averaged 23.7 points over last week's three games to earn Big West Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors.
The native of Temecula, Calif., led the Titans in scoring in all three games as they went 2-1 overall.She recorded 26 points on 9-of 12-shooting in the Nov. 28, 97-49, victory over Whittier. Lathan registered 22 points, six rebounds, an assist and a steal as the Titans toppled Montana for the first time in program history, 72-56, on Wednesday. Despite 23 points from Lathan in Sunday's contest against Loyola Marymount, CSF fell 77-62.For the week, Lathan averaged 6.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals in addition to leading the Titans in scoring.  She also got to the free throw line extensively, making 17 of her 27 attempts.

THE LAST TIME
Fullerton has lost its last four road games dating back to last season. The Titans' last win on the road was a 66-53 victory at UC Irvine on Feb. 20, 2016.

GAME NOTES
From 97-49 victory over Whittier (Nov. 28)
The Titans' 48-point victory was its largest since a 49-point, 95-46, win against San Jose State on Jan. 7, 1990…the Titans last scored 97 points in a 100-74 win against Sacramento State on Dec. 9, 2010.
From Wednesday's 72-56 win vs Montana
Cal State Fullerton won its first game against Montana in six tries dating back to 1983…Lauren Nubla's eight assists were a Titan season high as well as a career best for the sophomore guard.
From Sunday's 77-62 loss to Loyola Marymount
The Titans committed a season-low nine turnovers on Sunday.

IN THE BIG WEST AND MORE
Iman Lathan enters the week leading the Big West Conference in scoring, averaging 17.7 points per game. The junior guard has led the Titans in scoring on five occasions this season - including the last three games - and has reached the 20-point plateau in each of those five games.
Daeja Smith's 7.7 rebounds per game rank seventh in the league. Her .538 field goal percentage rates fifth in the conference. She has led the Titans in rebounding for four straight games, including posting two double-doubles last week.
Jade Vega's .700 free-throw percentage ranks eighth in the Big West Conference.
Keimeshia Walker's average of 1.7 steals per game rates ninth in the league.
Jordan Jackson's average of 2.4 three-pointers per game is tied for second in the Big West while her .378 three-point field goal shooting percentage ranks eighth.
• Cal State Fullerton has three players with offensive rebounding averages ranking in the top 10 of the Big West Conference: Daeja Smith (3.1, 3rd), Dhanyel Johnson (2.4, 7th) and China Henderson (2.4, 7th).

• Cal State Fullerton is 2-0 when opponents score 59 points or less and 0-5 when opponents score 60 points or more
• The Titans are 2-0 when shooting a higher field goal percentage than their opponent and are 2-0 when totaling more assists.

PORTLAND STATE NOTES
• Cal State Fullerton opened the 2015-16 season with an 84-69 victory over Portland State, marking one of three Titan victories on the year.
• Portland State is 3-3 and has played two Big West opponents thus far with a 99-72 loss at CSUN to open the year and a 79-73 victory over UC Irvine in Portland on Saturday.
• The Vikings have three players averaging double figures led by Sidney Rielly's 16.8 points per game.

AGAINST THE BIG SKY
Fullerton is 1-1 against the Big Sky Conference this year, suffering an 88-86 loss to Idaho on Nov. 14 while recording a 72-56 victory over Montana on Wednesday. Both games were played at Titan Gym.

THE RETURNERS
Fullerton returns to the floor with just one starter from last year, 5-foot-5 sophomore guard, Jade Vega. In total, the Titans return only three letterwinners with sophomore guard Lauren Nubla and senior center Dhanyel Johnson back on the floor. 

2017 RECRUITING CLASS
The Cal State Fullerton women's basketball team welcomed four commits to the program as high school seniors Laura Dalton, Xinavane Foreman, Carolyn Gill and Mason VanHouten each signed National Letters of Intent to begin their respective collegiate careers at Fullerton for the 2017-18 season, it was announced by fourth-year head coach Daron Park on Nov. 16.

LAST TIME OUT
Iman Lathan scored 23 points while Jade Vega and Jordan Jackson added 12 apiece but it was not enough as Cal State Fullerton fell, 77-62, to Loyola Marymount Sunday evening at Titan Gym.Lathan delivered her fourth 20-point game of the season, while four other Titans reached double figures in scoring as Jordan Jackson poured in 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting from behind the three-point line. Redshirt sophomore forward Daeja Smith recorded her second double-double of the year with 11 points and a game-high 11 rebounds, while China Henderson scored 10 points and delivered five assists. Keimeshia Walker added 10 points, two assists and one steal.Sophomore guard Lauren Nubla tallied a game-high and career-best eight assists in the win.
