LARAMIE, Wyo. – The Cal State Fullerton women's basketball team could not find an offensive rhythm on Sunday as the Titans suffered a 61-26 loss to Wyoming at Arena-Auditorium.

With the loss, Cal State Fullerton is 0-3 to start the 2016-17 season, while the Cowgirls improve to 3-1 on the year.

Wyoming was led by four players reaching double figures as Liv Roberts scored a game-high 14 points to go along with a game-high seven rebounds.

Marta Gomez poured in 10 points for Wyoming, and Natalie Baker produced 10 points and five rebounds off the bench. In addition, Rachelle Tucker scored 10 points off the bench on 5-of-7 shooting.

Cal State Fullerton was held to a .205 (9-of-44) shooting percentage as senior Dhanyel Johnson and junior Jordan Jackson led the Titans with seven points apiece.

Fullerton committed a game-high 19 turnovers which led to 13 points for Wyoming as the Cowgirls also held advantages in points in the paint (30-12), second-chance points (18-2), bench points (26-4) and rebounding (52-35).

Wyoming knocked down seven three-pointers compared to three for Fullerton. In addition, Fullerton shot just 5-of-15 from the free-throw line.

After a Jade Vega three-pointer in the first quarter, Fullerton held a 5-4 lead, which would be its only of the game. In the final five minutes of the quarter, the Cowgirls ended the frame on a 9-3 run, before pulling away further and outscoring Fullerton 21-6 in the second quarter en route to a 33-14 halftime advantage.

The Titans remain on the road to play Denver at 5 p.m., Tuesday from Magness Arena.

Notes: Cal State Fullerton is 0-3 to start the season for the first time since the 2014-15 campaign…Cal State Fullerton's 26 points scored is the fewest points scored in a single game for the Titans since scoring 24 in a 79-24 loss at UC Santa Barbara on Feb. 21, 2001 – which is the program record for fewest points scored…Wyoming leads the all-time series 4-1 and has won the last four.
