A LOOK BACK AT THE 2015-16 SEASON
The Cal State Fullerton women's basketball team finished the 2015-16 season with an overall record of 3-27 while posting a 1-15 record in Big West play. The 2015-16 season was a huge learning year for the Titans as five freshmen saw a combined 3,374 minutes on the floor with four of them seeing over 500 minutes each. The Titans also didn't have any graduating seniors leaving them with a complete squad to come back and compete next season.
The Titans won their season opener for their first time in four years with the 84-69 victory over Portland State, also logging their first win in a home opener since the 2012-13 season.
The record book didn't stand a chance as multiple strong individual performances made their way into the books after this season, including Michelle Berry's standout freshman year and Samantha Logan solidifying her career after a strong junior season. Berry can now find herself in the record books in eight different categories, including single season rebounds (9th - 264), single-season double-doubles (12), career double-doubles (12), top single game performance (38 pts. on Nov. 13, 2015) and freshman records for games started (29), minutes (1,030), field goals attempted (445), and free throws attempted (129).
Logan has also worked her way up in the career records, climbing into second place all-time in both 3-point field goals made (649) and 3-point field goals attempted (694). The junior also ranks 4th all-time in 3-point percentage (.353), fifth in single-season 3-point field goals made with 67 in 2015-16 and sixth in single season 3-point field goals attempted with 200.

BERRY ALL-CONFERENCE
Freshman Michelle Berry was the lone representative for the Titans as she earned her first career All-Conference honors after a standout freshman campaign. Berry was one of five freshman named to the All-Freshman team while also earning an honorable mention after being one of the conference's top threats in both scoring and rebounding.
Berry ended the season averaging 14.5 points per game, just shy of the freshman school record and averaged 9.1 rebounds per game. The 6-2 freshman also caught the conference's attention by finishing out the regular season in the top 10 out of all Big West players in multiple categories, including: double-doubles (1st, 12), scoring (3rd- 14.5 ppg), rebounding (2nd – 9.1 rpg), offensive rebounds (8th – 2.0 rpg), defensive rebounds (1st – 7.1 rpg) and minutes played (2nd – 35.5 avg/g).
Berry is the first freshman to make the All-Freshman team since her teammate Samantha Logan earned the nod back in the 2013-14 season.
CAREER NIGHTS
Michelle Berry: Berry's Titan debut was one for the books as she scored 38 points in the Titans season opener on Nov. 13 against Portland State. The freshman also recorded two 16-rebound games to mark career-highs.
Jade Vega: Vega recorded the first 20-point game of her career putting up 20 points at UC Davis, shooting 7-11 from the floor and sinking five free throws on Feb. 6.
Lauren Nubla: The freshman recorded 12 points during her trip to the island, going 4-7 from the field and sinking three free throws at Hawai'i on Jan. 28.
Amanda Tivenius: The Sweden native recorded the first double-digit rebounding game of her career as she pulled down 10 from the glass on Jan. 9th against Long Beach State.
Samantha Logan: The junior recorded a career-high 24 points, going 9-17 from the floor and 6-12 from behind the arc against CSUN on Mar. 3.
Dani Craig: The Iowa native scored a career-high 22 points in their second game of the season at LMU, going 7-15 from the floor and 6-12 from behind the arc on Nov. 17.
Madison Crawford: The freshman scored six points at CSUN going 2-8 from the floor and sinking two free throws.
Portia Neale: The sophomore had a career-night at UC Davis, scoring 11 points shooting 4-9 from the floor including three three-pointers.
Dhanyel Johnson: The Jamaica native recorded the first double-double of her career with the 15 point, 11 rebound performance at CSUN on Jan. 30.
SNAPPED THE STREAK
The Titans snapped their 24-game losing streak with their 66-53 win at UC Irvine. The Titans were led by junior Sami Logan and freshmen Michelle Berry who each scored 15 points a piece while Logan logged her first double-double of the year with 14 rebounds.
The 24-game streak is the longest single season streak in history, beating out the previous set 19 games during the 2000-2001 season.
DOUBLE-DOUBLE FEVER
The Titans recorded 14 double-doubles this season with 12 of them coming from Berry. Samantha Logan and Dhanyel Johnson also pitched in one a piece.
BIG WEST PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Freshman Michelle Berry was the only Titan to earn Big West Player of the Week accolades this season and was the first Titan freshman in history to earn the honor. The nod came after Berry's 38-point performance against Portland State to earn the first Big West honor of the season.
