FULLERTON'S RECENT RESULTS
Mar. 5 vs UC Irvine
The Titans won their last regular-season home game of the year against UC Irvine on Mar. 5 at Titan Gym behind gutsy performances from seniors Kathleen Iwuoha and Chante Miles.
Iwuoha dominated the boards on the offensive and defensive side of the ball against the Anteaters on Thursday, pulling down a career-high 18 rebounds and adding 21 points to stretch her team-high double double total on the season to eight.  The Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. native shot an efficient 9-of-15 from the field in her 38 minutes on the floor.
Miles did what she has done the entire season for the Titans, run the offense and put the ball in the basket.  The senior from Compton, Calif. dropped 20 points in her last regular-season game at Titan Gym; it was her 13th game this year eclipsing the 20-point total.  Miles shot 3-of-16 from the field, but shot 14-of-14 from the charity stripe to help the Titan cause.
Led by their trio of post players, the Titans out rebounded UC Irvine 29-15 through the first half and held a 36-23 lead heading into the final 20 minutes.
UC Irvine would not go down without a fight, however. With the seventh seed in the Big West Tournament up for grabs, the Anteaters started the second half on an 11-5 run that cut the CSF halftime lead to just 41-34 with 15:00 minutes remaining in the game.
The Anteaters (7-23, 4-11) would continue their hot shooting, and cut the Titan lead to just two points with 10 minutes to go in the contest.  Just as UCI's confidence was at a game high, Samantha Logan buried a three-pointer to give the Titans some much-needed breathing room with 8:24 left to play.
Iwuoha and Miles closed out the game from the free-throw line, and all four seniors received a well-deserved ovation from the Titan faithful as time ran out on Thursday night.
Fullerton shot 33 percent (19-of-57) from the field and 11 percent from behind the three-point line.  The big difference in the game was on the glass, as the Titans out rebounded the Anteaters 47-31 through 40 minutes of play.

BREAKING DOWN UC RIVERSIDE
After finishing the season with losses in three of their last four games, the Highlanders find themselves out of the top four teams in the Big West and must play Cal State Fullerton on Tuesday in the first round of the Big West Tournament at Titan Gym.
The winner of Tueday night's matchup at Titan Gym between the Titans and UC Riverside will see their season continue on to Wednesday night, to face either No. 3 Cal Poly or No. 4 Long Beach State.
Big West Player of the Year, Brittany Crain, is the go-to option for the UCR offense this season averaging 22.1 points per game this season.

TITANS IN THE BIG WEST TOURNAMENT
Fullerton is making its 14th consecutive appearance in the Big West Tournament and its 25th overall berth since the 1985-86 season. Fullerton is 16-24 all-time in the conference postseason event, winning at least one game in the tournament in five of the last eight seasons and three times advancing to the semifinal round during that span. Head coach Daron Park is making his second-consecutive appearance to the conference tournament, as the Titans dropped a decision to Long Beach State in the first round of the conference tournament last season.

MILES & IWUOHA EARN ALL-CONFERENCE NODS
After a season where they averaged over 50 percent of the total offense for the Cal State Fullerton Titans, the senior duo of Chante Miles and Kat Iwuoha were honored Monday morning with all-conference selections.  Iwuoha earned a bid as an honorable mention while Miles stole the show with a selection to the Big West Conference First Team.

CLIMBING THE RECORD BOOKS
Natalie Williams:  Williams currently sits eighth all-time on the Fullerton shot blockers list with 53 career blocks.
Kat Iwuoha:  One of the top-five rebounders in Cal State Fullerton history, Iwuoha has pulled down a total of 746 boards and currently sits in fourth place on the all-time Titan rebounding list.

MILES CHASING HISTORY
With 24 points in the final week of the regular season, Chante Miles now has 1,429 points in her Titan career, she currently sits in eighth place all time on the Titan scoring list.  Miles is 90 points shy of Nancy Dunkle (1,519 points) for seventh place in the Fullerton record book.

CAREER NIGHTS
Chante Miles: The guard from Compton, Calif. could not be stopped Feb. 19 at Cal Poly as she dropped a career-high 36 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field and 6-of-8 from behind the arc.
Amanda Tivenius: The freshman from Lindingo, Sweden scored a career-high 16 points on a very efficient 6-of-8 shooting from the floor against San Diego on Nov 18.

Samantha Logan: Samantha Logan led the charge on the glass for the Titans in a 58-49 victory over UC Riverside in the opening game of Big West Conference play on Jan.8.  Logan pulled down a career-high 17 rebounds and dished out three assists in her 34 minutes on the floor.
Titan Defense: The Cal State Fullerton defense was played a historically dominant first half against UC Irvine on Jan. 15 at Bren Events Center.  The Titans held the Anteaters to a school-record 12 points allowed in the first half of play.  The record was previously held by the 1970 squad who gave up 13 points to Cal Western (a.k.a USIU) on Feb. 19.
Kathleen Iwuoha:  While posting her team-best eighth double double of the season, the senior from Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds against UC Irvine on Mar. 5.  Iwuoha also added at team-high 21 points to her stellar night on the glass.

TOP BIG WEST SCORERS GO AT IT ONE MORE TIME
UC Riverside's Brittany Crain and Fullerton's Chante Miles, the top-two scorers in the Big West Conference this season, will go head to head in a win or go home scenario in the first round of the Big West Conference Tournament.  In the two regular-season matchups, Crain and Miles have matched each other shot for shot, both scoring 18 points in a Fullerton win at Titan Gym and both scoring 20 points in a UC Riverside home win later in the season.
