2013-14 Season Recap at a Quick Glance

Cal State Fullerton finished the season 12-18 overall and 8-8 in the Big West conference under first year head coach Daron Park. The 2013-14 squad had its most conference wins since the 2009-10 season and secured its eighth double-digit win season in the last nine years.

"I felt like we found ourselves during the year and it took some time for this team to understand what we were asking of them, but I think you saw as the season progressed we got better and we were a much better basketball team in February and March than we were in November and December," said head coach Daron Park.

Head Coach Daron Park

In his first season at the helm of Cal State Fullerton women's basketball, Daron Park guided the Titans to a 12-18 overall record and 8-8 record in the Big West Conference. After many years as an associate head coach, interim head coach, and assistant, Park helped three Titans earn All-Big West Conference honors. Park is the first male head coach in Cal State Fullerton women's basketball history. Park recorded his first win as the head coach of the Titans on Nov. 22 versus Columbia.

"My first year was everything I expected and that's a good thing. I felt the road I took and experiences I had along the way really prepared me for this year. I'm very excited to shed the rookie head coach label and move on into year two".
