Fullerton, CA - Cal State Fullerton freshman midfielder Michael Farfan has been selected to the NSCAA / adidas Div. I Far West All-Region men's soccer second team.

The product of Chula Vista, California, is one of only two freshmen listed on the combined first, second and third teams, joining fellow second-teamer Nick Cardenas of San Diego State. Farfan earlier earned first-team All-Big West Conference honors and was voted the freshman of the year.

Farfan was the Titans' No. 2 scorer in 2006 with 14 points on 5 goals and 4 assists. He and his twin brother, Gabriel, were both members of the U.S. Under-17 national team prior to enrolling at Fullerton.
