HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity starter at Bel
Air High School in El Paso, Texas, the alma mater of recent Titan
star Eugene Brooks and current teammate Mario Alvarez... Won
first-team all-district honors three times and was an all-city most
valuable player selection and defensive player of the year choice
on two occasions... Led Bel Air to a district and regional
championship and to the semifinals of the state tournament with an
overall record of 26-2 for Coach Sergio Delgado... Was rookie of
the year as a freshman.
CLUB: Mexicas F.C. and El Paso Indios, which
won the U.S. Adult Soccer Association's 2007 National Cup.

Texas... Parents are Omar and Marina Tena... Has a younger brother
